The Yakama Nation’s Yakama Reservation Watersheds Project (YRWP) is requesting bids for a Fish Screen Repair project along Toppenish Creek (46.331807, -120.537458) that will take place in fall/winter 2026. The project will involve all work elements and specifications found in the Project Plans attached to this bid packet.
If interested in the award of this contract you must attend the only pre-bid site visit schedule on October 6th, 2026. The departure time will be 8:00 a.m. leaving from the Fisheries Resource Management office: 4690 SR 22 Toppenish, WA 98948. The deadline to submit your proposal is Tuesday October 20th, 2026- 4:00 PM PDT proposals will not be accepted after this date/time.
The last day for questions is Wednesday, October 14th.

By 4:00 PM PST on October 20th, 2026, each contractor that wishes to be considered must have completed and submitted to the Yakama Nation a signed copy of the Lawrence Ditch Fish Screen Repair Project (Exhibit B) along with all required supporting documentation. Incomplete bid packages and bid packages received after the submission deadline cannot be considered. All contractors submitting bids for this project shall provide and/or demonstrate, at a minimum, the following:
- A list of experienced equipment operators that will be on-site during project construction. Please provide details of their work on in-stream passage improvement infrastructure within the past several years.
- A detailed construction timeline of how you propose to get all project tasks completed within the stated project timeline.
- Experience and preferably examples of the ability to create de-watered work areas through the use of coffering techniques. A cofferfdam and surface water diversion plan should be submitted with the bid documents.
- A list of key pieces of heavy equipment that will be used in construction of the project and a daily standby rate for each piece of heavy equipment.
