The Yakama Nation is requesting bids from qualified engineering firms for the design and construction support of a river intake fish screen and sediment management system at the Klickitat Hatchery, 301 Fish Hatchery Road, Glenwood, WA 98619. The 100% final design must be stamped by a licensed WA Professional Engineer. All work must be completed prior to April 1, 2027, and bids must indicate availability accordingly. A non-mandatory pre-bid tour will be held August 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM PDT. Written bid proposals must be received by email to jbartholomew@ykfp.org by 5:00 PM PDT on August 28, 2026; hand-delivered and mailed bids must be coordinated in advance by calling the Project Coordinator at 509-365-6026 for delivery details. A public bid opening will be held via virtual live meeting on August 31, 2026; all bidders who submitted a bid will be provided a link to the virtual bid opening. The successful contractor must comply with federal and state laws, regulations, and Tribal ordinances.
