Satus Creek Wood Loading RM 23 (Second Bid Announcement)

The Yakama Nation's Yakama Reservation Watershed Program (YRWP) is requesting bids for construction of a Salmon Habitat Enhancement Project to be implemented along Satus Creek, a tributary of the Yakama River, in July 2026.  The project will involve all work elements and specifications found in the Project Plans attached to this Request for Bids announcement

This is the second bid announcement for this project, as the previous announcement in December 2025 received bids outside of the project budget. Please note that pages C10 and C11 of the design sheet reflect an updated revegetation plan. Additionally, all plant material will be owner supplied

A complete bid packet will include the following

1. The bid sheet on pg. 4, including an hourly standby rate. 

2. Proposal requirments listed on pg. 2 including examples of experience constructing similar projects. 

 

Please note that bids will be due by 4:00 PM, Monday, Feburary 9th, 2026, in hardcopy or email form.

All bids delivered hardcopy or email, must be recieved at the Toppenish office by 4PM on the RFP Closing date.

Additional Information:

  • Davis Bacon Wages Apply to this contract.  The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation.
  • The Yakama Nation is exempt from state taxes on this project.  Please see the attached Treaty Fishery Exempt Cover Letter and Treaty Fishery Exempt Certificate.  The winning contractor will receive signed copies for their records.
  • This project has adopted by reference in the Engineer's Planset the 2025 Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.  The 2025 Standard Specifications Maunal can be downloaded here:  https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/publications/manuals/fulltext/M41-10/SS.pdf
