The Yakama Nation's Yakama Reservation Watershed Program (YRWP) is requesting bids for construction of a Salmon Habitat Enhancement Project to be implemented along Satus Creek, a tributary of the Yakama River, in July 2026. The project will involve all work elements and specifications found in the Project Plans attached to this Request for Bids announcement
To RSVP for the madatory pre-bid site tour on November 20th at 11:00 AM please email Audrey Scott at scoa@yakamafish-nsn.gov. Contractors will meet at the Yakama Nation Fisheries Building (4690 SR-22, Toppenish WA 98948), then caravan to the project site. The site is located off US HWY-97 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/e7pWdbhGCZYBgBYL9).
A complete bid packet will include the following:
1. The bid sheet on pg. 4, including an hourly standby rate.
2. Proposal requirments listed on pg. 2 including examples of experience constructing similar projects.
Please note that bids will be due in Toppenish by Close of Business, Wednesday, December 8th, 2025, in hardcopy form. Only hardcopy proposals submitted to Yakama Nation Fisheries via parcel delivery service, postal mail or hand delivery will be accepted. Bids should be mailed or shipped to:
We strongly encourage all contractors submitting bids to get their hardcopy packages in the mail one week prior to the closing date to ensure timely delivery. It is also recommended that you email Loverne George (geol@yakamafish-nsn.gov) a digital copy of the bid you have submitted as well as a copy of your certified mail certificate for proof of submission.

- Davis Bacon Wages Apply to this contract. The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation.
- The Yakama Nation is exempt from state taxes on this project. Please see the attached Treaty Fishery Exempt Cover Letter and Treaty Fishery Exempt Certificate. The winning contractor will receive signed copies for their records.
- This project has adopted by reference in the Engineer's Planset the 2025 Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
